Hey folks!
I’m back. I’m sorry, I didn’t post last week because I had forgotten that it was my day to do it. Again.
Thanks to The Pensieve for putting up with such an annoying guest.
For those of you who don’t know, I have been guest posting here for a while. If you like my post and would like to read more of my poems and stories, here is my blog.
Without further ado, let’s get started…

Waves crash up the shore
Wipe my steps, soak my shoes,
Bend before the tide’s roar
Or else the Tyrant runs loose.
Aerial view of a beach, seaface, waves crashing on the shore
All footsteps are swept
And I stand broken, alone,
Soundlessly, confusion has crept
And my cover is finally blown.

When all are asleep,
Thoughts infest my head
Am I trapped in a circle?
Am I living or dead?
A plaza, piazza, crossroad circle. Black and white road
An endless loop,
I’m trying to break free
I was lured to stoop
It’s your time to bend the knee.
There’s a beauty in dark
To err is human, they say
Chaos, like plights, won’t last forever
Just like fistfuls of sand blow away.
Waves crashing on a rocky seashore at sunset. Rocks, Pebbles eroded and rounded by the sea
I rise at the dalliance of sun and sea
A ladder to climb, chaos is a mystery.

Hey there!

This post was inspired by a quote (from Game Of Thrones)

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, are given a chance to climb. They refuse, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

– Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish

Hope you like the poem but if you didn’t then do share the reason so that I can improve.

Do share your thoughts with me regarding the poem and the quote.

Happy reading!

This is lovely! I know it’s Lord Baelish, but it reminded me more of Daenerys.

      Thank you, Sophia!
When I read it again, it reminded me of Dany. She kind of fell off the ladder in season 8.😅

After being so wrapped up in current events, I find your website soothing. It reminds me there are underlying, and, I believe, more powerful forces at work in the universe that will always prevail.
